Our 1:24th Furniture Kits Have Been Reviewed..!

Hello everyone!

This morning I had a lovely surprise when friend and fellow blogger Debbie Wright very kindly whispered in my virtual ear that she had spotted something exciting in the latest issue of ‘Dolls House & Miniature Scene’ magazine!!

It seems that feature writer Ann Sutcliffe has reviewed Petite Properties’ 1:24th scale furniture kits and Debbie very kindly sent me a photograph of the fabulous review!
So as you can imagine Mr Bea and I are over the moon and we will be dashing off to the shops shortly to get hold of our very own copy of this fabulous magazine! ...
What a lovely start to the longest day of the year!!

That 'End Of Term' Feeling..!

Good afternoon everyone!

Well despite not personally attending the dolls house show in York yesterday (Mr Bea flew solo on the PP stand) my feet have finally touched down again in the PP office and despite it being only Monday; I have a distinct 'end of term' feeling...

This year, with no Scottish Miniatura later in June, it means that for Mr Bea and I Sunday's York show was our final event of the current season and we are both now very much looking forward to our summer 'break'...

But before you all conjure up ideas of us skipping bare foot towards 'his and hers' stripy deck chairs, rest assured we have a working 'summer' recess planned!  This year our show schedule from Autumn to Christmas has been packed, almost back to back with shows and it also comes with the possibility of us squeezing a new international show date into the melee!...?

So with all these events in mind, Mr Bea and I will spend the summer producing a wide array of brand new kits in a variety of scales, which will be launched when the inevitable 'show carousel' starts spinning again with Autumn Miniatura on 24th & 25th September.

Can't wait that long for new kits?  Then not to worry!!

Mr Bea and I will also be releasing new kits throughout the summer via our online shop and I hope to have news of our next 1:144th (micro kit) very soon…!!

So as ever do watch this space, as it looks like the summer of 2011 is going to be a busy one!

The 'Summer' issue of the AIM imag is out NOW!

Dear AIM imag readers,

Here in AIM’s virtual ‘global’ office, all is now quiet…
Over heated laptops have been switched off, bulging notepads have been closed and flattened desk chair cushions have been plumped.
In short there has been an audible (collective) sigh rippling quietly across four continents and countless time zones as the hardworking editorial team members finally step away from their desks and look forward to a well earned summer break!

However, with the editorial team disappearing into the golden sunset, there is no need to panic!!

In order to cover the editorial team’s need for their annual holidays, ‘stay-cations’, rehab visits or private time in darkened rooms, rest assured that before clocking off (and supported by the talented members of AIM) they have pulled out all the stops to put together this fantastic ‘summer’ edition of the AIM magazine, which we hope will tide you all over until the next issue of the AIM imag is released on the 1st August!!

So in the meantime, and as is now customary, as editor it is once again my privilege to welcome you all the 35th edition of the AIM Magazine, which as you will see is packed full of exciting projects, articles and not forgetting all your favourite regular columns and features too – and of course all for FREE!

But for now, as several deck chairs, floppy sun hats and many rounds of iced Pimms beckon, the editorial team and I hope that you will all enjoy this ‘Artist’s Life’ inspired issue and rest assured the AIM magazine will be back on August 1st - rejuvenated, refreshed and quite simply better than ever!

Cheers!!!

Bea (Fiona) Broadwood
Editor Of The AIM Magazine
