Good afternoon everyone!!
Firstly I would like to wish you ALL a belated 'Happy New Year!' and I hope that you all had a magical and very 'merry' Christmas!!
Mr Bea and I had a wonderful and relaxing Christmas which following a VERY busy ‘autumn season’ was spent quietly with our family…
However before Big Ben chimed in the New Year, 2012 had one last fabulous surprise celebration for us, when on Christmas Eve our youngest daughter became engaged!! (*happy noises!)
However now, as the season of baubles and feasting gently ebbs away, 2013’s quiet start and sedate pace is not likely to last for very much longer, as our first ‘Dolls House & Miniatures’ show of the year at ‘Stafford’ is now little more than a week away and will be followed quickly by a brand new prestigious miniature show, to be held at the Tower Hotel, London at the end of the month!!! 2013 also sees our Petite Properties show schedule (yet again) expand and this year we are excited to also be attending the ‘1 zu 12’ show in Soest, Germany! For a full and updated show schedule please see our website –
For Mr Bea and I, 2013 is also going to be very special year as our business, 'Petite Properties' - will be celebrating its 10th birthday (!!) and we plan to mark our ‘first decade’ in the miniature world with a '12 month' flurry of competitions, promotions, generously sprinkled with the release of some very special new smaller scale products... all making for a very busy, hectic and celebratory year!
But despite a busy show schedule and Petite Properties’ 10th birthday celebrations, a cursory glance at my shiny new calendar also tells me that 2013 will not just be all about our work within the ‘miniature world’… Mr Bea and I are also looking forward to the imminent birth of our 2nd grandchild, a ‘summer time’ engagement party, a very special family wedding, a christening and then finally, towards the end of the year - our silver wedding anniversary celebrations too!… it certainly looks like 2013 is going to be a year to remember!!
But before 2013 inevitably sweeps us all into its 'busy' clutches and the lights of Christmas fade for another year, may I once again wish you ALL a very happy New Year… and here’s hoping that 2013 will be filled with health, happiness and contentment, all knitted together with copious amounts of laughter, punctuated only by the sound of popping corks!
;0)
Happy New Year!!!
Bea & Tony Broadwood
