With February upon us it is my honour to welcome you to this very special issue of the AIM imag. Although Christmas is now all but a dim and distant memory, here at AIM we thought you all might like to revisit the wonderful projects that were featured in our very unique online advent calendar.
Throughout December (and January too) my inbox has indicated that, yet again, the AIM Advent Calendar was a massive hit with the whole of the miniature world. It seems that for many of our readers, the calendar helped to revisit the sense of childhood anticipation and the delight of opening a new advent door each day to reveal a different surprise.
I also know from the many emails that I received during the busy ‘pre Christmas’ period, that some of you sadly missed the opportunity to download each project before they were gone – but worry not!!
This new issue of the AIM imag is a wonderful compilation of the individual projects featured in the 2011 AIM Advent Calendar, all neatly packed into one easy to download publication and we hope you all enjoy it!
But before you head off to flip through our virtual pages, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank all of the AIM members who not only kindly donated FREE miniature projects for you all to enjoy, but also took the time to volunteer both their work AND their time for FREE.
As ever the AIM Advent Calendar or indeed this issue of the AIM imag would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the AIM Editorial Team, who personally undertook a massive amount of work to bring the 2012 calendar into fruition! Thank you.
So finally I hope that you will all enjoy this very special edition of the AIM imag and if you do have a go at any of the projects contained in its pages – do let us know how you got on, as we would love to hear from you!?
